Bernard Muir
Bernard Montgomery Muir (born July 22, 1968) is an American college athletics administrator who is currently the athletic director at Stanford Cardinal, Stanford University. Prior to Stanford, Muir served in the same position at the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens, University of Delaware and Georgetown Hoyas, Georgetown University. Early life and education Born in Gainesville, Florida, Muir attended Brown University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in organizational behavior and management and played basketball, serving as the team's co-captain in his senior year. He went on to earn a master's degree in sports administration from Ohio University. The Stanford Cardinal are the athletic teams that represent Stanford University. As of June, 2022, Stanford's program has won 131 NCAA team championships. Stanford has won at least one NCAA team championship each academic year for 46 consecutive years, starting in 1976–77 and continuing through 2021–22. The Big 12 Conference is a college athletic conference headquartered in Irving, Texas, USA. It consists of ten full-member universities. It is a member of Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for all sports. Its football teams compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS; formerly Division I-A), the higher of two levels of NCAA Division I football competition. Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens Athletic Directors
