Bernard Caprasse
Bernard Caprasse (born 24 January 1949) is a Belgian politician. He was governor of the province of Luxembourg from 1996 until 2016. He is a member of the Centre démocrate humaniste. Biography Caprasse was born on 24 January 1949 in Lierneux. He obtained a licentiate in law at the Université catholique de Louvain in 1972. He worked as a lawyer in Brussels from 1972 to 1975, and in Marche-en-Famenne between 1975 and 1996. Luxembourg (Belgium)
Luxembourg (french: Luxembourg ; nl, Luxemburg ; german: Luxemburg ; lb, Lëtzebuerg ; wa, Lussimbork), also called Belgian Luxembourg, is the southernmost province of Wallonia and of Belgium. Lierneux (; wa, Lierneu) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Lierneux had a total population of 3,367. Humanist Democratic Centre (french: Centre Démocrate Humaniste, CDH) was a Christian democratic and centrist French-speaking political party in Belgium. The party originated in the split in 1972 of the unitary Christian Social Party (PSC-CVP) which had been the country's governing party for much of the post-war period. It continued to be called the Christian Social Party (french: Parti Social Chrétien, PSC) until 2002 when it was renamed the Humanist Democratic Centre. It was refounded as Les Engagés in 2022.
