Ian Bermingham
Ian Bermingham (born 6 June 1989 in Dublin) is an Irish former professional footballer that played 13 seasons with League of Ireland Premier Division club, St Patricks Athletic, where he was club captain and is the all-time appearance record holder. He previously spent two seasons at UCD and a season at Shamrock Rovers. Club career Early career Raised in Ballyfermot, Bermingham began playing football with his local side Ballyfermot United. His form with his local club was good enough to earn a move to fellow Dublin club Lourdes Celtic where he played alongside future League of Ireland players including a future St Patrick's Athletic teammate Derek Foran, as well as earning his first Republic of Ireland Underage callups. Thomas Bermingham (priest)
Thomas Valentine Bermingham, SJ (1918 – 21 November 1998) was an American Jesuit priest, and Classical teacher and scholar. In addition to his academic career at institutions including Fordham University and Georgetown University, he was known for his involvement in the production of the 1973 horror film ''The Exorcist'', on which he worked as a technical advisor as well as acting in a minor role. James Bermingham (Irish Republican Brotherhood)
James Bermingham (1849–1907) was a prominent "advanced nationalist" in Dublin during the last quarter of the nineteenth and early part of the twentieth centuries. Early life James Bermingham was born in Dublin in December 1849. The church register of St. Nicholas of Myra, Francis Street, Dublin, shows that he was baptised there on Monday, 17 December 1849. David Bermingham
The NatWest Three, also known as the Enron Three, are three British businessmen – Giles Darby, David Bermingham and Gary Mulgrew. In 2002 they were indicted in Houston, Texas on seven counts of wire fraud against their former employer Greenwich NatWest, at the time a division of National Westminster Bank, as part of the Enron scandal. After a high-profile battle in the British courts they were extradited from the United Kingdom to the United States in 2006. On 28 November 2007, each pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud in exchange for the other charges being dropped. On 22 February 2008 they were each sentenced to 37 months in prison. Mick Bermingham
Michael Bermingham is an Irish people, Irish sportsperson. He played hurling for the Kilmacud Crokes GAA, Kilmacud Crokes club from 1951 until 1983 and was a member of the Dublin GAA, Dublin senior inter-county team. John Rutledge Bermingham (November 7, 1923 – May 29, 2020) was an American politician and lawyer who served in the Colorado Senate from 1965 to 1973 as a Republican. Early life and education Bermingham was born in Lake Forest, Illinois on November 7, 1923. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Bermingham attended Yale University and Columbia Law School, graduating from the latter in 1949. USS ''John M. Bermingham'' (DE-530) was an Evarts class destroyer escort constructed for the United States Navy during World War II. She was sent off into North Atlantic Ocean waters to protect convoys and other ships from German submarines and fighter aircraft. Joseph Bermingham
Joseph Bermingham (9 May 1919 – 11 August 1995) was an Irish Labour Party politician. Bermingham was born in Castlemitchell, County Kildare. He was educated at the Christian Brothers school in Athy and the O'Brien Institute in Dublin. Bermingham worked as a shopkeeper before being elected in 1967 as a member of Kildare County Council. He was an unsuccessful candidate for Dáil Éireann at the 1969 general election and at a by-election in 1970. Paddy Bermingham (footballer)
Patrick Joseph Bermingham (17 March 1904 – 7 November 1970) was an Irish footballer who played as a defender and represented the Irish Free State football team in 1934. Born in March 1904 and from the Rathcoole area of County Dublin, Bermingham was a pupil of the Royal Hibernian Military School in Dublin's Phoenix Park and was school cross-country, swimming and boxing champion. Early in his career Bermingham worked for WD & HO Wills Cigarettes on South Circular Road before working at Urney's Confectionery in Tallaght. He lived in the Dublin suburb of Rialto. Anne Bermingham (1925 - 2006) was a chemist who pioneered radio carbon dating in Australia at the Museum of Applied Science in Melbourne. Education Bermingham obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Melbourne in 1948. In 1956 she was awarded a Travelling Scholarship from the English Speaking Union and used it to visit radiocarbon dating laboratories in the USA.
