Jan Fredrik Berglund (born 21 March 1979) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a forward. He started off his career with IF Elfsborg in 1995 and became the Allsvenskan top scorer during the 2000 season. He then went on to represent Roda JC, Esbjerg fB, FC Copenhagen, and Stabæk before retiring at IF Elfsborg in early 2011. A full international between 2001 and 2006, he won 12 caps and scored two goals for the Sweden national team. Club career Early years Berglund started his professional career with IF Elfsborg and was a key player together with Anders Svensson and Tobias Linderoth, the three of them were nicknamed "The Headband Gang". Ralph Douglas Charles "Challe" Berglund (born 18 January 1965 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish former ice hockey player and coach. Biography He played 12 seasons for Djurgårdens IF of the Elitserien and won five Swedish Championships with Djurgården in 1989, 1990, 1991, 2000 and 2001. He also received silver in 1992 and 1998. The last seasons of his career he was the team captain. He is highly appreciated and loved by the supporters of Djurgården (i.e. Järnkaminerna) for being so devoted to the club and its supporters. Berglund earned 142 caps for the Swedish national team. He won both the World Championship gold in 1991 and the Olympic gold in 1994. In 1996, he also won the Swiss Championship with EHC Kloten. Arthur J. Berglund (September 4, 1940 – December 19, 2020) was an American ice hockey coach and executive. He won the Lester Patrick Trophy in 1992, and was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2008. His international hockey career spanned around five decades; during that time, he was mostly a manager or part of the administrative staff of over 30 teams from the United States. Career Berglund graduated from Colorado College in 1963, where he was the leading scorer. He then had a brief playing career in Austria and Switzerland, after which he permanently moved to the United States. On the advice of William Thayer Tutt, Berglund decided to become a hockey executive, rather than player. He became the manager of the United States National Team from 1973 to 1975. Hans Gustaf Bo Berglund (24 February 1918 – 17 September 2006) was a Swedish sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1930s to the late 1940s. He won the gold in the K-2 1000 m event at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. Berglund also won two medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold (K-4 1000 m: 1948) and a silver (K-2 1000 m: 1938). Note that the K-4 1000 m event was not part of the Summer Olympics until the 1964 games in Tokyo.
