Berenice Quezada
Berenice Xuyami Quezada Herrera (born 28 September 1993) is a Nicaraguan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Nicaragua 2017 and represented Nicaragua at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. In the 2021 Nicaraguan general election, Quezada was the running mate of Oscar Sobalvarro, presidential candidate for the Citizens for Liberty (CxL) party. However on August 3, she was placed under house arrest and barred from running. Early life and education Quezada was born in El Rama, Nicaragua. Vos TV, formerly ESTV, is a Nicaraguan Terrestrial television, terrestrial TV channel (cable until 2010) broadcasting from the city of Managua. Before it was assigned a terrestrial frequency, it was known as ESTV and ran exclusively on ESTESA's cable network. History ESTV (Canal 11)began broadcasting in 2005. The Contras were the various U.S.-backed and funded right-wing rebel groups that were active from 1979 to 1990 in opposition to the Marxist Sandinista Junta of National Reconstruction Government in Nicaragua, which came to power in 1979 following the Nicaraguan Revolution. Among the separate contra groups, the Nicaraguan Democratic Force (FDN) emerged as the largest by far.
