Berel Soloveichik
Berel (Yosef Dov) Soloveichik (1915–1981) was a rabbi and the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Zev Soloveichik and one of the leading Rosh Yeshivas ("heads of the yeshiva") of the Brisk yeshivas in Jerusalem. He was a first cousin to Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik, who was named after the Beis HaLevi, like himself. Rabbi Soloveichik was succeeded as Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Brisk in Jerusalem by his son Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Soloveichik. Yosef Dov Soloveitchik (Beis Halevi)
Yosef Dov Soloveitchik (born 1820 in Nesvizh, Minsk Governorate, Russian Empire; died May 1, 1892 in Brest-Litovsk, Grodno Governorate, Russian Empire) was the author of Beis Halevi, by which name he is better known among Talmudic scholars. He was the great-grandson of Chaim Volozhin. Early years Yosef Dov Soloveitchik was born to Rivka, a granddaughter of Chaim Volozhin. His father was Yitschok Ze'ev, descendant of Simcha Rappaport. In his youth, Soloveitchik lived in Brod. One anecdote illustrates his early mastery of rabbinic learning. Shlomo Kluger, the rabbi of Brod, enjoyed engaging in Talmud studies with him. Malkiel Kotler
Aryeh Malkiel Kotler (born April 1951) is a Haredi Judaism, Haredi rabbi and rosh yeshiva (dean) of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood Township, New Jersey, Lakewood, New Jersey, one of the largest yeshivas in the world. He is a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah (Council of Torah Sages) of Agudath Israel of America. Biography Aryeh Malkiel Kotler was born to Shneur Kotler and his wife, Rischel (née Friedman). Yeshiva Gedola of Passaic is an advanced yeshiva in the Passaic Park neighborhood of Passaic, New Jersey catering to post-high-school-age men. Rabbi Meir Stern is the rosh yeshiva (dean) of the Yeshiva Gedola of Passaic, a large yeshiva and kollel in the United States. He is known for the revival of the Orthodox communities of Passaic and Clifton. Telshe Yeshiva (also spelled ''Telz'') is a yeshiva in Wickliffe, Ohio, formerly located in Telšiai, Lithuania. Avrohom Yitzchok Sorotzkin is a prolific writer and former Rosh Yeshiva of Telshe yeshiva who delivers the most advanced Talmudic lecture at the Mesivta of Lakewood. Sorotzkin is widely recognized as a Gadol and leader of American Orthodox Jewry and he is a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah (Council of Torah Sages). Shimshon Dovid Pincus
Rabbi Shimshon Dovid Pincus (Hebrew: שמשון דוד פינקוס , August 1944 – April 12, 2001) was an Israeli Haredi Rabbi of American origin, who served in Ofaqim. Biography In his early years, Rabbi Pincus learned in Beth Hatalmud Rabbinical College yeshiva in New York City under Rabbi Aryeh Leib Malin. Afterwards, he made ''aliyah'' to Israel to learn in Brisk yeshiva under Rabbi Berel Soloveitchik, the son of the Brisker Rav. After his marriage, he lived in Bnei Brak and then in the Negev.
