Berat Özdemir
Berat Ayberk Özdemir (born 23 May 1998) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq. Professional career Özdemir made his professional debut for Gençlerbirliği in a 1-0 Süper Lig loss to Çaykur Rizespor on 17 August 2019. On 5 January 2021, he signed a 4.5-year contract with Trabzonspor. On 9 August 2022, Özdemir joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq on a three-year deal. On 4 September 2023, Özdemir joined Trabzonspor on a one-year loan. International career Özdemir debuted for the Turkey national team in a 1–1 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification tie with Norway on 8 October 2021. Melikgazi, in Byzantine times known as Tzamandos, is a metropolitan district of Kayseri in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. Al-Ettifaq FC
Al Ettifaq Football Club ( ar, نادي الاتفاق لكرة القدم, nādī al-ittifāq likura al-qadami) is a professional football club in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. It was established by the merger of three Damman clubs in 1944. Al Ettifaq were the first Saudi team to win an international title – the 1984 Arab Club Champions Cup. They were also the first to win the Saudi Premier League without any defeats, and the first Saudi team to win the GCC Champions League. Al Ettifaq have a total of 13 different titles to their name. The Turkish Super Cup ( Turkish: ''TFF Süper Kupa''), as it is currently known, is the annual super cup football match contested between the previous season's Süper Lig champions and the Turkish Cup winners in Turkey. TFF First League
The TFF 1. Lig, officially known as Spor Toto 1. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The league was founded in 2001 as the ''Turkish Second League Category A'' after the reorganization of the Second Football League, which was the second level of the Turkish league system between 1963 and 2001. The league was called ''Türk Telekom Lig A'' in the 2006–2007 season, and was renamed to ''TFF First League'' prior to the 2007–08 season. As of 16 January 2008 the league was renamed as Bank Asya 1.
