Berat Buzhala
Berat Buzhala Born on November 22 1975, in Klinë Kosovo is a former Kosovo Member of Parliament for the former governing Democratic Party of Kosovo. He joined the political party after working as a journalist. He left politics and returned to journalism after serving a single mandate in the Parliament. Buzhala belongs to a young generation of Kosovar journalists, established after the Kosovo War. He initially worked as an economics journalist in daily Zeri and Koha Ditore, and was later one of the co-founders of daily Gazeta Express. In 2018, Buzhala helped establish a new TV channel in Kosovo named T7 which engages in independent journalism and in-depth political and economic coverage. Berat Buzhala was born in Çabiq, municipality of Klinë. He works and lives in Pristina. Klinë
Klina ( sq-definite, Klinë; Serbian Cyrillic: ) is a town and municipality located in the District of Peja of north-western Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Klina has 5,542 inhabitants, while the municipality has 38,496 inhabitants. It is located at the confluence of the river Klina into the White Drin. A symbol of Klina are the Mirusha Waterfalls. The Democratic Party of Kosovo ( sq, Partia Demokratike e Kosovës; abbr. ''PDK'') is one of the largest political parties in Kosovo. Kosovo War
The Kosovo War was an armed conflict in Kosovo that started 28 February 1998 and lasted until 11 June 1999. It was fought by the forces of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (i.e. Serbia and Montenegro), which controlled Kosovo before the war, and the Kosovo Albanians, Kosovo Albanian rebel group known as the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). ''Koha Ditore'' (trans. ''Daily Time'') is the leading daily newspaper in Kosovo. It is published by Koha Group and was founded and owned by politician Veton Surroi. His sister Flaka Surroi is now the publisher, following Veton Surroi's launch of his political career within the ORA reformist party. The newspaper initially published as a weekly magazine Koha, that ran from 1992 to 1994, becoming a leading weekly magazine in Kosovo. The initial team included new generation of opinion-makers such as Ylber Hysa, Baton Haxhiu, Dukagjin Gorani, Eqrem Basha, Shkelzen Maliqi, etc. The newspaper with the same name was published for the first time in 1997. Kosovo Albanians
The Albanians of Kosovo ( sq, Shqiptarët e Kosovës, ), also commonly called Kosovo Albanians, Kosovar/Kosovan Albanians or Kosovars/Kosovans, constitute the largest ethnic group in Kosovo.
