Benz Circle Flyover
Benz Circle Flyover is a Flyover spanning the Benz Circle area in Vijayawada, India. The long flyover is part of the expansion of National Highway 16 and National Highway 65. Planned as a two-phased project, the first phase was inaugurated on 16 October 2020 by Nitin Gadkari. The flyover is expected to be wholly completed by 2022. History It was included in the road-widening project and the widening of "Vijayawada- Machilipatnam Highway" after Benz Circle towards east. In the first phase, the construction of was done, stretching from Skew Bridge Junction to Novotel Hotel, Completed by February, 2020 and Opened for Public use . Forty-three pillars were constructed in the flyover-1 (first phase). The Second Flyover's Construction was Started on November, 5th 2020 and Completed by November 3rd, 2021 . National Highway 65 (India)
National Highway 65 (NH 65), (previously National Highway 9), is a National Highway in India. It runs along the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It starts at Pune and ends at Machilipatnam. Major cities on this route are Pune, Solapur, Hyderabad, Suryapet, Vijayawada and Machilipatnam. The section between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, is known as Vijayawada–Hyderabad Expressway and is a major expressway. Nitin Gadkari
Nitin Jairam Gadkari (; born 27 May 1957) is an Indian politician from Maharashtra who is the current Minister for Road Transport & Highways in the Government of India. He is also the longest serving Minister for Road Transport & Highways currently running his tenure for over 8 years. Gadkari earlier served as the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from 2009 to 2013. He is also known for his work as the Public Works Department Minister of the State of Maharashtra, where, under his leadership, a series of roads, highways and flyovers across the state were constructed – including the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, India's first six-lane concrete, high-speed expressway. The Kanaka Durga Varadhi is a beam bridge Spanning Across Krishna River in between Mangalagiri Tadepalle Municipal Corporation and Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India.
