Benoît Benvegnu (born January 18, 1985) is a French football goalkeeper currently playing for Vannes OC in the French Ligue 2. Career Born in Montauban, Benvegnu played youth football for Lafrançaise and Castelmaurou before joining Toulouse FC in 1999. He represented France at all youth levels, and helped the team to a runner's up finish at the 2002 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Benvegnu joined Toulouse's senior side, but never was the club's first-choice goalkeeper. Montauban
Montauban (, ; ) is a commune in the southern French department of Tarn-et-Garonne. It is the capital of the department and lies north of Toulouse. Montauban is the most populated town in Tarn-et-Garonne, and the sixth most populated of Occitanie behind Toulouse, Montpellier, Nîmes, Perpignan and Béziers. In 2019, there were 61,372 inhabitants, called ''Montalbanais''. The town has been classified in the French Towns and Lands of Art and History network since 2015. Nicolas Douchez (born 22 April 1980) is a French former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Toulouse In 2005, Douchez signed for Toulouse FC. He played 86 league games for the club before signing with Rennes. Rennes Douchez signed for Rennes in 2008, where he spent over three years with the club playing over 100 league games. Paris Saint-Germain In 2011 Douchez signed for Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer from Rennes. He was given the number 1 jersey for the upcoming season. Although he was initially expected to be the starter, this changed following the arrival of new club management, which recruited Salvatore Sirigu, who instead became the team's starting goalkeeper.
