Benjamín Ortega Cantero
Benjamín Akoto Asamoah (born 4 January 1994) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays for Cypriot club Doxa Katokopias F.C., Doxa as a Midfielder (association football), midfielder. Club career Born in Accra, Benjamín arrived at the youth academy of Atlético Madrid from the Rayo Majadahonda counterpart in 2012. After a stint with Atlético Madrid C, he was promoted to the Atlético Madrid B, B-team in 2012. On 29 May 2015, his contract was extended by the club till June 2017. On 3 August 2016, he moved to fellow Spanish club CE L'Hospitalet, Hospitalet. On 6 August 2017, Benjamín joined Cypriot First Division club Doxa Katokopias F.C., Doxa where he was assigned the 17 number jersey. The 2015–16 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It started in August 2015 and ended in late June 2016 with the promotion play-off finals. The 2017–18 Cypriot First Division was the 79th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. The season began on 19 August 2017 and is ended on 13 May 2018. Teams Promotion and relegation (pre-season) Anagennisi Deryneia and AEZ Zakakiou were relegated at the end of the first-phase of the 2016–17 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table.
