Benito Juárez is a municipality in the Mexican state of Guerrero. The municipal seat lies at San Jerónimo de Juárez. The municipality covers an area of 284.9 km2. The municipality is located at , on the Pacific coast between Acapulco and Zihuatanejo. It is drained by the Río Atoyac. As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 14,444. Zihuatanejo
Zihuatanejo (), or Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, is the fourth-largest city in the Mexican state of Guerrero. It was known by 18th century English mariners as Chequetan or Seguataneo.
