Beni Lar
Beni Lar born (August 12, 1967) is a politician of the People's Democratic Party from Plateau State, Nigeria. She's a member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives from Langtang North, Langtang South federal Constituency of Plateau State. She was first elected to the house in 2007 and in 2019 she was re-elected to a fourth term in the house. Biography and career She is the eldest daughter of Solomon Lar, a former Governor of Plateau State and Prof. Mary Lar. She says, “My father taught me that there is no difference between a male and a female (child). He taught me to be hard-working; so, I trained as a lawyer just like him." Juliet Akano
Juliet Nene Akano (born May 22, 1963) is a Nigerian politician. She was elected to the House of Representatives in 2007 and in 2011. Life Akano was born in Kano State in 1963 to Godson and Alice Obasi from Arochukwu. She was not brought up in Kano state as her family moved whilst she was still a baby. As a child she lived in Enugu where her mother taught and her father worked in the Ministry of Finance's offices. She was elected to the National House of Assembly to represent Nwangele/Isu and Njaba local government areas in Imo State. Chibok Schoolgirls Kidnapping
On the night of 14–15 April 2014, 276 mostly Christianity, Christian female students aged from 16 to 18 were kidnapped by the Islamic terrorism, Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram from the Government Girls Secondary School at the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria. Prior to the raid, the school had been closed for four weeks due to deteriorating security conditions, but the girls were in attendance in order to take final exams in physics. 57 of the schoolgirls escaped immediately following the incident by jumping from the trucks on which they were being transported, and others have been rescued by the Nigerian Armed Forces on various occasions.
