Ali of Karaman (also known as Bengi Ali) was the bey of Karamanids in what is now modern Turkey in the 15th century . Karamanids Karamanid was a Turkmen state in central Anatolia after the disintegration of Seljuq Sultanate of Rûm. Batman ( ku, Êlih) is a Kurdish-majority city in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey and the capital of Batman Province.
