BeBe Zahara Benet
Nea Marshall Kudi Ngwa (born March 20, 1980) better known by his stage name BeBe Zahara Benet, is a Cameroonian-American drag performer, television personality, and musician best known for winning the first season of the reality-television drag competition ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' in 2009''.'' In 2018, he returned as a surprise contestant for the third season of '' RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars'', placing in the top four. His first EP, ''Face'', was released in 2014, followed by his second EP, ''Kisses & Feathers'', in 2017. His third EP, ''Broken English'', was released in 2020. As of 2019, he stars in the TLC transformational makeover television series '' Dragnificent'', as the event planning expert. Thomas Benet (martyr)
Thomas Benet (died 1531) from Cambridge, was an English Protestant martyr during the reign of King Henry VIII. In 1524, he moved to Torrington, North Devon, with his wife and family so that he could exercise his religious conscience more freely in a county where no one knew him. He was executed by burning on 15 January 1531, for heresy, at Livery Dole outside Exeter in Devon, under the supervision of Sir Thomas Dennis (c.1477-1561) of Holcombe Burnell, near Exeter, then Sheriff of Devon. (Nicholas Orme states that the posting of documents on and around Exeter Cathedral for which Benet was condemned took place in October 1530, and his execution consequently took place early the following year.) He is said in ''Foxe's Book of Martyrs'' to have died with "his hands and eyes to heaven, saying 'Lord, receive my spirit!'". Risedronic acid, often used as its sodium salt risedronate sodium, is a bisphosphonate. It slows down the cells which break down bone. It's used to treat or prevent osteoporosis, and treat Paget's disease of bone. It is taken by mouth. It was patented in 1984 and approved for medical use in 1998. Benet's Reader's Encyclopedia
''Benét's Reader's Encyclopedia'' is a reference work devoted to world literature. The first volume appeared in 1948, edited by Pulitzer Prize-winner William Rose Benét, older brother of the writer Stephen Vincent Benét. Benét set out to "present to he readera well-organized supplementary memory, in one volume". The encyclopedia was based on Ebenezer Cobham Brewer's classic ''Dictionary of Phrase and Fable'', and offered a compendium of curious information (such as " Aani. In Egyptian mythology, the dog-headed ape sacred to the god Thoth"). The second edition appeared in 1965, with the addition of new entries, the expansion of old entries, and the addition of illustrations. More widely available is the third edition, edited by Katherine Baker Siepmann and published in 1987. Benét Laboratories, part of the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center, is the US Army's primary design, development, engineering and production and field support facility for large caliber armament systems, including cannons, mortars, and recoilless rifles. The facility also works on tank gun mounts and turret components and munition handling systems. It is located at the Watervliet Arsenal in upstate New York. Benet Academy
Benet Academy ( ) is a co-educational, college-preparatory, Benedictine high school in Lisle, Illinois, United States, overseen by the Diocese of Joliet. Founded in 1886, the school was initially established in Chicago as the all-boys St. Procopius College and Academy by Benedictine monks, who also operated the St. Joseph Bohemian Orphanage. In 1898, the orphanage moved to Lisle, about west of Chicago, to be joined by St. Procopius three years later. In 1926, Benedictine nuns constructed the all-girls Sacred Heart Academy near the orphanage and school in Lisle. The orphanage closed in 1956 to make room for St. Procopius Academy, which separated from the college in 1969. Due to rising costs and waning enrollment, Sacred Heart merged with St. Procopius Academy in 1967 to form Benet Academy on the St. Procopius campus. William Rose Benét (February 2, 1886 – May 4, 1950) was an American poet, writer, and editor. He was the older brother of Stephen Vincent Benét. Early life and education He was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Col. James Walker Benét and his wife, Frances Neill (née Rose), and grandson of Brigadier General Stephen Vincent Benét. He was educated The Albany Academy in Albany, NY and at Sheffield Scientific School of Yale University, graduating with a Ph.B. in 1907. At Yale, he edited and contributed light verse to campus humor magazine ''The Yale Record''. He began the ''Saturday Review of Literature'' in 1924 and continued to edit and write for it until his death. She is best known for her roles on the soap operas ''The Young Marrieds'' (1965–1965) and ''Days of Our Lives'' (1979–1982). She was also featured in an episode of Hogan's Heroes in 1970.
