Benefis
''Benefis'' is a weekly one-hour talk show hosted by an Armenian presenter Avet Barseghyan, and airing on Yerevan-based Public Television company of Armenia. The show featured one-on-one interviews with notable residents of Armenia, their best performances, and interesting facts about their lives and creative paths. The talk-show aired every Sunday. Iveta Mukuchyan
Iveta Mukuchyan ( hy, Իվետա Մուկուչյան, ; born 14 October 1986) is an Armenian singer. Born in Yerevan, Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, she moved to Hamburg, Germany, in 1992. Mukuchyan returned to Armenia in 2009 and placed fifth in the fourth season of the talent competition ''Hay Superstar''. During this time, she received vocal training at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. Mukuchyan also participated for season two of ''The Voice of Germany'' in 2012. She represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "LoveWave", finishing seventh in the final. Mukuchyan made her acting debut in the comedy movie ''Run Away Or Get Married'' that year, and released her debut extended play, ''IvaVerse''. Avet Barseghyan ( hy, Ավետ Բարսեղյան, ) is an Armenian songwriter and TV host, who hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Yerevan, Armenia, alongside Gohar Gasparyan. Barseghyan has also written several of Armenia's entries for both the Eurovision Song Contest and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, as well as being the country's commentator since . Christine Pepelyan ( hy, Քրիստինե Պեպելյան, born April 22, 1980), is an Armenian broadcaster and singer. In 2013, she was one of the jury members of The Voice of Armenia, in addition, the winner of The Voice was from her team. In 2017, Pepelyan appeared as a special guest in a musical program called "Benefis", which is about the most prominent Armenian singers and songwriters. Erik Karapetyan ( arm, Էրիկ Կարապետյան; born 5 June 1988), better known as simply Erik, is an Armenian singer-songwriter. He represented Armenia in the 2011 New Wave international contest for young performers and achieved fifth place. He also won "Audience's Choice" of that competition. In 2016, he became one of the jury members of the Armenian X-Factor. Life and career Early life Karapetyan was born on 5 June 1988 in Tbilisi. Varduhi Vardanyan ( hy, Վարդուհի Վարդանյան; June 26, 1976 – October 15, 2006) was an Armenian singer. She has participated in many international song contests and always won many awards and was awarded best singer of Armenia. Early life Varduhi Vardanyan was born on June 26, 1976, in Yerevan, Armenia. She is one of three children in the family. Since her early childhood, she had a passion towards singing. She used everything similar to microphone to sing. Eventually it became unique way of self-education for her. She had a 96-page copybook containing her favorite pioneer songs.
