"Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV" (also known as "Bender Should Not Be Allowed on Television") is the sixth episode in the fourth season of the American animated television series ''Futurama''. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on August 3, 2003. The episode's plot revolves around Bender's outlandish behavior on the television program ''All My Circuits''; after he lands a spot on the show, he is quickly criticised by members of the public for setting a poor example for children. Bender eventually sees the critics' point of view after he realizes children imitated his behavior and stole his belongings, and sets out to put a stop to his own behavior. Plot After a robot actor on ''All My Circuits'' malfunctions, an open casting call is held for a replacement. Ron Hughart
Ronald P. Hughart (born June 18, 1961) is an American animator, director, and storyboard artist. He has worked on several shows, including ''The Ren & Stimpy Show'', '' Family Dog'', '' Futurama'' and '' American Dad!''. He also worked on ''Ren & Stimpy'' as a layout supervisor and timing director. Hughart currently works on ''American Dad!'' as co-supervising director with Brent Woods. During his work on '' Futurama'', supervising director Rich Moore said that Ron had directed some of the best scenes of violence on the show. This was noted on the audio commentary of Raging Bender. Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth, commonly referred to in-show as either Professor Farnsworth or simply Professor, is a fictional character in the American animated television series ''Futurama''. Lewis Morton
Lewis "Lew" Morton is an American television writer. He has written for several shows, including ''Saturday Night Live'' (from 1993-1995), ''NewsRadio'', ''Family Guy'' and ''Futurama''. He worked as a producer for ''Undeclared'', but never authored any episodes. He also executive produced the film '' Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story''.
