Benda, Albania
Benda is an Ancient city and former diocese in present Albania, now a Latin Catholic titular see. The present ethnographic region has taken its name from it. In the XVI-XVII centuries, it was composed of the center Moisit and the villages of Shëngjergj, Shënmëri, Shëngjin, Façesh, Mëner, Bruz, Shënpal, Derje, Kumardh, Xibër, Gur i Bardh, Martanesh, Bastar. Benda is a village in the Brebes regency of Central Java Central Java ( id, Jawa Tengah) is a province of Indonesia, located in the middle of the island of Java. It was discovered by Austrian astronomer Johann Palisa at the Vienna Observatory on 11 October 1912. For its size, the dark X-type asteroid has a relatively short rotation period of 7.1 hours. Pa'chum Bun ( km, ភ្ជុំបិណ្ឌ, , lit. "Ancestor's Day") is a Cambodian 15-day religious festival, culminating in celebrations on the 15th day of the tenth month in the Khmer calendar, at the end of the Buddhist Lent, Vassa. In 2022, Pa'chum Bun began on September 11 and ended on September 25. The day is a time when many Cambodians pay their respects to deceased relatives of up to 7 generations. Staff Benda Bilili
Staff Benda Bilili are a group of street musicians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They used to live around the grounds of the zoo in the country's capital city, Kinshasa, and play music which is rooted in soukous, with elements of old-school rhythm and blues and reggae. The core of the band consists of four senior singers/guitarists, who are paraplegic (they had poliomyelitis when they were young) and move around in spectacularly customized tricycles. They are backed by a younger rhythm section consisting of abandoned street children who were taken under the protection of the older members of the band. The soloist is an 18-year-old boy (2009) who plays guitar-like solos on an electrified one-stringed lute he designed and built himself out of a tin can.
