Ben Yeo Chi Lung () is a Singaporean actor and television host. Career A former model, Yeo was first scouted on ''Snap'', SPH MediaWorks Channel U's talent show. He won the competition and was signed by SPH MediaWorks. When MediaWorks merged MediaCorp in 2005, he was one of a number of artistes transferred over. Yeo has gotten 2 Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes from 2012, 2017 respectively. Personal life Yeo's ancestry can be traced back to Zhaoan, Fujian. He has two older sisters and an older brother. ''Black Rose'' (爆料黑玫瑰) is a MediaCorp Channel 8 Chinese language comedy-satire variety show. It is a remake of the Taiwanese show Celebrity Imitated Show (全民最大黨) and features various MediaCorp artistes acting as different characters with parodic mannerisms and names. Personalities and characters spoofed are often well-known figures in the Chinese language entertainment industry. The show takes the format of a talk show, with one of the regular cast members or a guest star taking the role as host. The host holds a black rose and introduces the six other personalities one by one. Five cast members made a guest appearance at the ''Star Search'' 2010 Grand Finals during the Q & A segment. It was created by Television Singapura on 31 August 1963 with experimental broadcasts, before going official on 23 November that year. The channel's logo is a yellow number 8 on top of a red disc. The Destined One (), is a reality dating show, for each episode, four local celebrities are invited to play matchmaker and a group of 10 men and women will attempt to find the right match. Format In each episode, four men or women will be hidden from view as the "fated persons (有缘人)". The remaining six men or women stand at the podium to award points (1 to 10) to all the fated persons based on star matchmakers' recommendations and interactions with the fated persons.
