Ben Stevens (cricketer)
Benjamin David Hodfinger Stevens (born 5 May 1992) is a Jersey international cricketer. In 2014 he played in the 2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Four and he was selected in the Jersey squad for the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament. Career In September 2017, he took the most wickets for Jersey in the 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament, with a total of fourteen dismissals in five matches. In April 2018, he was named in Jersey's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Four tournament in Malaysia. He was named as the player to watch in the squad ahead of the tournament. He was the leading run-scorer for Jersey in the tournament, with 253 runs in six matches, and the leading wicket-taker for his side, with thirteen dismissals. The International Cricket Council (ICC) named him as the player of the tournament. 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier
The 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament held during October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine which teams would qualify for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. The six teams finishing highest in the qualifier tournament joined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the first group stage of the 2020 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. 2023 Men's T20I Inter-Insular Series
The 2023 Men's T20I Inter-Insular Series, consisting of three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches, took place at the Farmers Cricket Club Ground in St Martin in July 2023. This was the fourth Twenty20 Inter-Insular series, and the third to be played with official T20I status. Jersey were the defending champions, having won the 2022 series 3–0. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off
The 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off was the inaugural edition of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off, a cricket tournament which formed part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process. It took place in March and April 2023, with all matches having One Day International (ODI) status, regardless of whether or not a team had ODI status prior to the start of the event. As a result, Jersey played their first ever matches with ODI status.
