Ben Saunders (born 25 December 1991) was an Australian rules footballer who played for South Fremantle in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He was the club's leading goalkicker in 2012, 2014 and 2016. Mount Barker Football Club
The Mount Barker Football Club is an Australian rules football club located in Mount Barker, Western Australia. Nicknamed the Bulls, the club plays in the Great Southern Football League, with home games originally being hosted at Frost Oval (''aka'' Frost Park) in Mount Barker but changed to Sounness Park in 2015. Club history During the early 1990s both the North and South Mount Barker Football Clubs were not performing well. Two teams in a small town stretched the limited number of players. Members of the North Mount Barker Football Club (the ''Demons'') approached the South Mount Barker ''Hawks'' with the proposal that both teams amalgamate to make a stronger team for the town. Talks broke down and in 1993 the Demons were wound up and the Mount Barker Football Club was formed. South Fremantle Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in Fremantle, Western Australia. The club plays in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL) and the WAFL Women's (WAFLW), commonly going by the nickname the ''Bulldogs''. The Claremont Football Club, nicknamed Tigers, is an Australian rules football club based in Claremont, Western Australia, that currently plays in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW). Its official colours are navy blue and gold. Bernie Naylor Medal
The Bernie Naylor Medal is an Australian rules football award which is given to the leading goalkicker at the end of each home and away season in the West Australian Football League. It is named after South Fremantle full-forward Bernie Naylor. Before the Bernie Naylor Medal, there was no physical trophy given to the competition's leading goalkicker, although there had been proposals for such a trophy to be instituted.
