Ben Poquette
Benedict Jay Poquette (born May 7, 1955) is a retired American basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he graduated from East Lansing High School and Central Michigan University. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the second round (36th pick) of the 1977 NBA Draft, and played for them in 1977-78 NBA season, 1978–1978-79 NBA season, 79. He also played for the Utah Jazz in 1980-81 NBA season, 1980–1982-83 NBA season, 83, the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1983-84 NBA season, 1984–1986-87 NBA season, 87, and the Chicago Bulls in 1987 (his last season in the NBA). His best seasons in the league occurred while playing for the Utah Jazz. The Jazz franchise had just arrived in Salt Lake City in 1979 after five mostly unsuccessful seasons in New Orleans. Leonard Eugene "Truck" Robinson (born October 4, 1951) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Washington Bullets (1974–77), Atlanta Hawks (1977), New Orleans Jazz (1977–79), Phoenix Suns (1979–82), and New York Knicks (1982–85). Joseph Michael Calleja (November 9, 1974 – November 16, 2000), known by his stage name Joe C., was an American rapper, best known for being a hype man for fellow rapper Kid Rock. Early life Calleja was born in Trenton, Michigan, and grew up in nearby Taylor. Spencer Haywood (born April 22, 1949) is an American former professional basketball player and Olympic gold medalist. Richard Ryland Kelley (born March 23, 1953) is an American retired basketball player. Kelley played college basketball at Stanford University and was the first round pick (7th pick overall) of the New Orleans Jazz in the 1975 NBA draft. Kelley played eleven NBA seasons. College career A center/power forward, a graduate of Woodside High School, Kelley played college basketball for Stanford. The 7-foot, 235-pound Kelley was drafted as an underclassman in the second round of the 1974 American Basketball Association ABA draft by the New York Nets, but he opted to stay in college for another year. While in college, Kelley played for the Team USA in the 1974 FIBA World Championship, winning the bronze medal. In 76 career games at Stanford, under Coach Howard Dallmar, Kelley averaged a double-double of 18.6 points and 12.4 rebounds, shooting 49% from the floor and 78% from the line.
