Ben McLachlan
Ben McLachlan ( ; マクラクラン 勉, ''Makurakuran Ben''; born 10 May 1992) is a Japanese professional tennis player who previously represented New Zealand. He is a doubles specialist with a career-high ATP ranking of world No. 18, achieved in November 2018. McLachlan has won seven doubles titles on the ATP Tour, including three at ATP 500 level. He reached his first Grand Slam semifinal at the 2018 Australian Open alongside Jan-Lennard Struff, and has reached four further major quarterfinals in men's and mixed doubles. McLachlan has represented Japan in the Davis Cup since 2017, and also competed at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, reaching the quarterfinals in both men's and mixed doubles. Ben McLaughlin
Ben McLaughlin (born September 22, 1986) is a former quarterback and Hall of Fame inductee for the Louisiana College Wildcats football team, the Louisiana Swashbucklers of the Southern Indoor Football League, and the 2011 Gold Medal winning United States national American football team. High school McLaughlin was the starting quarterback for the Dierks High School Outlaws. He was a two-time All-state football player, and a three-sport athlete. He became the starter during his sophomore year in 2002, and led his team to an undefeated season in 2004, losing a close game in the Arkansas state playoffs to finish with an 11-1 season record. A favorite Outlaw memory will always be the Dierks/Murfreesboro game of 2002 where Ben led his team back from a 7-point deficit with 32 seconds remaining. The ATP Challenger Tour, known until the end of 2008 as the ATP Challenger Series, is a series of international men's professional tennis tournaments. The Challenger Tour events are the second-highest tier of tennis competition, behind the ATP Tour. Peter Wright (tennis)
Peter Wright (born December 8, 1963) is a former Irish American professional tennis player who played for Ireland in the Davis Cup. He was formerly the head tennis coach at the University of California, Berkeley. Playing career Wright, who was born and raised in Berkeley, qualified to represent Ireland in international tennis as it was the country of his parents. He appeared in 13 Davis Cup ties from 1988 to 1994 and won 16 of his 27 rubbers, 8 in singles and 8 in doubles. Although he was seen mostly on the Challenger circuit, Wright took part in the 1987 Seoul Open, a Grand Prix tournament. He was beaten in the opening round by Dutch player Michiel Schapers. The California Golden Bears are the athletic teams that represent the University of California, Berkeley.
