Ben Manenti
Benjamin Andrew Davey Manenti (born 23 March 1997) is an Australian cricketer. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off spin. He has played for Tasmania, South Australia, the Sydney Sixers, and the Adelaide Strikers. He has also represented the Italy national cricket team, qualifying as a citizen by descent. Domestic and franchise career Manenti made his Twenty20 debut for the Sydney Sixers in the 2018–19 Big Bash League season on 29 December 2018. On debut he took two wickets for thirteen runs and was named the player of the match. Manenti made his List A debut on 1 November 2021, for Tasmania in the 2021–22 Marsh One-Day Cup. He made his first-class debut on 15 March 2022, for Tasmania in the 2021–22 Sheffield Shield season. On 13 November 2022, he took his maiden five-wicket haul in first-class cricket against Western Australia. 2018–19 Big Bash League Season
The 2018–19 Big Bash League season or BBL, 08 was the eighth season of the KFC Big Bash League, the professional men's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament started on 19 December 2018. Adelaide Strikers were the defending champions. The competition was extended to a full home and away season for the first time, with each team to play each other twice at both a home venue and away venue. This consists of 56 regular season matches, two semi-final fixtures and the final. For this season of the tournament, the toss (cricket), toss was replaced by a bat flip, with "roofs and flats" used instead of heads or tails. The 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier is a cricket tournament that forms part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was played as part of qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The sub regional tournaments were scheduled to take place in June and July 2021 in Finland and Belgium, with the regional final taking place in October 2021 in Spain. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Regional Qualifiers were played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). The Western Australian Men’s cricket team, formerly nicknamed the Western Warriors, represent the Australian state of Western Australia in Australian domestic cricket.
