Ben Hill (cyclist)
Benjamin Hill (born 5 February 1990) is an Australian cyclist, who last rode for UCI Continental team . Career Hill was suspended for 2 years from cycling by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority for testing positive for Methylhexanamine during the 2012 Tour of Tasmania. Hill admitted the error immediately after a teammate gave him the substance instead of caffeine. Hill tried to fight his suspension stating it was unfair he was given 2 years when people who purposely blood doped got 6 months. In the 2016 cycling season Hill was supposed to ride for Dynamo Cover, a new UCI Continental team which folded before it even started racing. This left Hill among others looking for a new team for 2016. At the National race, Cootamundra Annual Classic, Hill finished in first place, his partner Rebecca Wiasak also won her event. Scone, New South Wales
Scone is a town in the Upper Hunter Shire in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. At the 2006 census, Scone had a population of 5,624 people. It is on the New England Highway north of Muswellbrook about 270 kilometres north of Sydney, and is part of the New England (federal) and Upper Hunter (state) electorates. Scone is in a farming area and is also noted for breeding Thoroughbred racehorses. It is known as the 'Horse capital of Australia'. 2022 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships
The 2022 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships was the second edition of the UCI Cycling Esports World Championships, the annual world championships for esport road bicycle racing. It was held on 26 February 2022 on the platform Zwift. Regional qualifiers took place 27–28 November 2021. Along with professional riders, invited by their respective national cycling organisations to compete in the championships, Zwift held a number of qualification events. The first round Continental Open event series was open to all eligible riders in the Zwift community. The second round of Continental Qualifiers then determined those community riders that won a place in the UCI Cycling Esports World Championships in February 2022. The Tour of Japan is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Japan since 1996 as part of the UCI Asia Tour. It is sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.1 category race. History Tour of Japan was formed as the successor of the Kokusai Cycle Road Race which began in 1982. Australian National Criterium Championships
The Australian National Criterium Championships cover several different categories of Australian road bicycle racing events, normally held annually. The elite event is normally held in the December the preceding year, for example the 2009 championships were held on 14 December 2008, and the 2008 championships were held on 2 December 2007. Occasionally the event will be held in January and under 23 events combined with the elite race. Each year the championships are held in a different location, often incorporated in other annual criterium events. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey featuring green and yellow stripes, which can be worn by the rider at other criterium events in the country to show their status as national champion. The champion's stripes can be combined into a sponsored rider's team kit design for this purpose.
