Ben Herd
Benjamin Alexander Herd (born 21 June 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. He is currently manager of Hertford Town. Starting his Football League career with Watford in 2003, he made his name at Shrewsbury Town between 2005 and 2009. In July 2009 he signed for Aldershot Town before dropping into non-league football. Playing career Watford Born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, Herd began his career as a trainee at Watford. He signed his first professional contract with the Championship club in March 2003, but was released two years later, having never played a game for the club. Shrewsbury Town In June 2005, Herd signed for League Two club Shrewsbury Town, following a recommendation from Herd's former Watford manager Ray Lewington. Shrewsbury Town F

Gavin Cowan (footballer)
Gavin Cowan (born 24 May 1981) is an English football manager and former player, he is the manager of National League North club Brackley Town. As a player he was a footballer and a centre-back. He notably played as a professional in the Football League for Shrewsbury Town. He has also played for Braintree Town, Canvey Island, Nuneaton Borough, Kidderminster Harriers, Grays Athletic, AFC Telford United, Fleetwood Town and Gainsborough Trinity. Career Cowan began his career at non-League club Braintree Town and moved to Canvey Island in 2003. He fell out of favour with Canvey Island manager Jeff King and in early 2005 was sent out on loan to Nuneaton Borough. David Edwards (footballer, Born 1986)
David Alexander Edwards (born 3 February 1986) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder for Cymru Premier club Bala Town. Edwards began his career at hometown club Shrewsbury Town, making his professional debut in 2003. After three full seasons with the team in League Two he moved to Luton Town of League One in July 2007. Due to Luton's financial situation he moved the following January to Wolverhampton Wanderers for a fee believed to be £675,000. Edwards was part of the Wolves teams that won the Championship in 2009 and League One in 2013, and also played three seasons with the club in the Premier League. He totalled 307 games and 44 goals for the club before transferring to Reading in August 2017. Ian Allinson
Ian James Robert Allinson (born 1 October 1957) is an English football manager and former player and former manager of St Albans City. In his playing career, Allinson amassed over 300 league appearances for Colchester United in two spells, and played over 100 games in all competitions for Arsenal. Conference South
The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. Along with National League North, it is in the second level of the National League System, and is the sixth tier overall of the English football league system. The National League South was introduced in 2004 as part of a major restructuring of the National League System. Each year the champion of the league is automatically promoted to the National League. The National League (named Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons) is an association football league in England consisting of three divisions, the National League, National League North, and National League South. The Southern League is a men's football competition featuring semi-professional clubs from the South and Midlands of England. Darren Moss
Darren Moss (born 24 May 1981) is a former Wales under-21 international footballer who is currently running his own football coaching academy. Playing career Moss started his career as a trainee at Chester. He made his début for the club back in November 1998, in Chester's 2–1 loss against Brentford. During Moss's Chester career he played in 62 games for the club, in those games he received nine yellow cards and two red cards. In June 2001, Moss joined Shrewsbury Town on a free transfer, making his début in August 2001 in Town's 3–1 loss against Hartlepool United.
