Ben Hassan
Tahar Ben Hassen (born July 14, 1941), sometimes written as Tamar Ben Hassan, is a retired Tunisian boxer. Olympics Hassen competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics as a bantamweight. He lost his first bout to Nicolae Puiu after receiving a first round bye. Hassen also competed in the 1964 Summer Olympics as a featherweight. He won is first bout against Peter Weiss, but lost his next bout against eventual silver medalist Anthony Villanueva. David Kotey
David Kotey (originating from the Kotei family; born 7 December 1950), popularly called "D.K. Poison", is a former world featherweight boxing champion between 1975 and 1976. He is the first Ghanaian professional boxer to win a world title. Amateur career DK Poison started his amateur career in Accra. He is one of many boxers spawned by Bukom, a suburb in the heart of the city populated by the Ga people. Many top Ghanaian boxers such as Roy Ankrah, Azuma Nelson and Ike Quartey are products of Bukom. Professional career David Kotey turned professional under trainer Attuquaye Clottey. His first professional bout was on 5 February 1966 in Accra when he outpointed his opponent over six rounds. He became the national featherweight champion that year. Anthony Villanueva
Anthony N. Villanueva (March 18, 1945 – May 13, 2014) was a boxer from the Philippines. He competed in the featherweight (−57 kg) division at the 1964 Olympics and won a silver medal. Shortly after the Olympics he turned professional, but retired after five bouts. Besides boxing, Villanueva worked as an actor and boxing coach in the Philippines and as a security guard in the United States. He died after suffering several strokes. His father, José Villanueva, was also an Olympic boxer who won a bronze medal as a bantamweight at the 1932 Los Angeles Games thus becoming the first father and son to win Olympic medals for the Philippines. Education Villanueva studied at the Far Eastern University. Amateur career Anthony Villanueva was scouted by businessman and sport enthusiast Eugenio Puyat. Peter Ulrich Weiss (8 November 1916 – 10 May 1982) was a German writer, painter, graphic artist, and experimental filmmaker of adopted Swedish nationality.
