Ben Harding (musician)
Ben Harding (born 1965) is an English lead and rhythm guitarist, vocalist and songwriter from London, best known for performing in the punk/rock bands Senseless Things, 3 Colours Red and Thee Faction. Louder Than War called him "one of the UK's finest rock guitarists." Biography Harding joined vocalist/guitarist Mark Keds, bassist Morgan Nicholls and drummer Cass Browne in pop punk/alternative rock group Senseless Things in 1987, completing the line-up of the band. Senseless Things released four studio albums and a Peel Sessions album between 1989 and 1995, had two Top 20 singles, and toured internationally. Harding is credited as songwriter on tracks including the 1993 single "Homophobic Asshole", from album Empire of the Senseless. After Senseless Things split in 1995, Harding joined 'Britrock'/punk band 3 Colours Red with vocalist/bassist Pete Vuckovic, guitarist Chris McCormack and drummer Keith Baxter. TV Smith
Timothy "T. V." Smith (born 5 April 1956) is an English singer-songwriter who was part of punk band The Adverts in the late 1970s. Since then he has fronted other bands, as well as pursuing a solo career. Biography Smith and Gaye Black (a.k.a. Gaye Advert) moved from, respectively, Okehampton in mid-Devon, and Bideford, a small coastal town in Devon, to form The Adverts in London in 1976. The Adverts are best known for their 1977 hit single "Gary Gilmore's Eyes" and acclaimed 1978 debut album ''Crossing the Red Sea with the Adverts''. Following unsuccessful follow-up album ''Cast of Thousands'', The Adverts split up in late 1979, and Smith formed a new band, T.V. Smith's Explorers. Jon Langford
Jonathan Denis Langford (born 11 October 1957) is a Welsh musician and artist based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Langford is a founder member of the punk band The Mekons, the post-punk group The Three Johns, and the alternative country ensembles The Waco Brothers and Pine Valley Cosmonauts. He has campaigned against the death penalty in Illinois. Early life Langford was born in Newport, Wales, the youngest son of Kit Langford and Denis Langford, a Registered Chartered Accountant for Lloyd's Brewery. The Filthy Lucre Tour was the 1996 reunion tour of the pioneering British punk rock band Sex Pistols. The 78-date world tour lasted for almost six months. Finsbury Park
Finsbury Park is a public park in the London neighbourhood of Harringay. It is in the area formerly covered by the historic parish of Hornsey, succeeded by the Municipal Borough of Hornsey. ''Revolt'' is the second album from UK rock band 3 Colours Red. It was recorded with producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers) and saw the band adopting a more polished and commercial sound. The album reached number 17 on the UK album chart when it was released on Creation Records in 1999, but the band split at their peak after releasing only 2 singles from it, both of which entered the UK top 40. An additional EP, ''Paralyse'', was released prior to the album. Background and recording 3 Colours Red released their debut studio album ''Pure'' in May 1997, which peaked at number 16 on the UK Albums Chart. Four of its five singles reached the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart, with "Sixty Mile Smile" peaking the highest at number 20. Keith Baxter (drummer)
Keith Baxter (19 February 1971 – 4 January 2008) was an English rock drummer. Biography As a teenager he became a founder member of Lancaster thrash metal & drinking professionals, Aphasia, before leaving for folk metal pioneers Skyclad, recording five albums with them before leaving in 1995, to move to London and join 3 Colours Red, with whom he recorded two UK Top 40 albums (''Pure'' and ''Revolt'') and six Top 40 singles. Following the split of the band in 1999, Baxter formed the band Elevation with former bandmate from 3 Colours Red, Pete Vuckovic. The pair signed with Sony but were dropped a year later. He moved back north to Lancaster, and briefly played with the Northern Irish band, Therapy? in 2002. 3 Colours Red formed again soon after that to record a third album (''The Union of Souls''), but split up again, permanently, in 2005.
