Ben Goodliffe
Ben David Goodliffe (born 19 June 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender. He currently plays for Colchester United. Club career Early career Born in Watford, Goodliffe played youth football for Tottenham Hotspur but was released at age 16 and joined Boreham Wood's academy. He made his senior debut on 7 February 2017 in a 5–0 FA Trophy win over Sutton United. He went on to make 4 further appearances for the club that season, all of which coming in the National League. Wolverhampton Wanderers In March 2017, it was announced that Goodliffe would join Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee on a two-year contract at the start of the summer transfer window. Watford
Watford () is a town and borough in Hertfordshire, England, 15 miles northwest of Central London, on the River Colne. Initially a small market town, the Grand Junction Canal encouraged the construction of paper-making mills, print works, and breweries. The National League (named Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons) is an association football league in England consisting of three divisions, the National League, National League North, and National League South. It was called the "Alliance Premier League" from 1979 until 1986. Between 1986 and 2015, the league was known as the "Football Conference"." The 2020–21 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, is the sixth season under English football's new title of the National League, the eighteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-second season overall. 2019–20 National League
The 2019–20 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the fifth season under English football's new title of National League, the sixteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-first season overall. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National League season was initially suspended on 16 March 2020 until at least 3 April. On 31 March, this suspension was extended indefinitely until further notice. On 22 April, clubs voted to end the season, with promotions and relegations still "under careful consideration". The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. The England national football C team (previously known as the England National Game XI and the England Semi-Pro national team) is the football team that represents England at non-league level.
