Ben Foakes
Benjamin Thomas Foakes (born 15 February 1993) is an English professional cricketer who plays internationally for the England Test cricket team. In domestic cricket, he represents Surrey, having previously played for Essex. Foakes made his Test debut in 2018, and played one game for each of the England One Day International and Twenty20 International teams in 2019. He plays as a right-handed wicket-keeper-batsman. Peter Foakes
Peter Foakes (11 September 1946 – 18 September 2006) was an English football referee in the Football League and Premier League. During his time on the List he was based in Clacton-on-Sea in Essex and was by profession a teacher. Career Foakes did not become a Football League linesman until the age of thirty seven in 1984. However, it then took him just three more years to graduate to the full Referees List. His first few years of officiating culminated in taking charge of an FA Cup quarter final at White Hart Lane between Tottenham (the eventual Cup winners) and Notts County. He officiated regularly in the former League Division One and was therefore an unsurprising choice for the new Premier League in 1992–93. The South African Under-19 cricket team have been playing official Under-19 test matches since 1995. Catch (cricket)
Caught is a method of dismissing a batsman in cricket. A batsman is out caught if the batsman hits the ball, from a legitimate delivery, with the bat, and the ball is caught by the bowler or a fielder before it hits the ground. Narangoda Liyanaarachchige Thisara Chirantha Perera ( si, තිසර පෙරේරා; born 3 April 1989), popularly as Thisara Perera, is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer who played all formats for the national team. County Ground, Chelmsford
The Essex County Ground (ECG) is a cricket venue in Chelmsford, Essex, England. It has been used by Essex County Cricket Club for first-class cricket since 1925 and List A matches since 1969, and has been the county's official home ground since 1967. The ground has a capacity of 6,500, mostly in single-tier seating with a single double-tiered stand. Its pavilion was completed in the 1970s.
