Ben Easter
Ben Easter is an American actor and photographer. Easter made his film debut in 2000 in ''Cora Unashamed''. He was later a repeated costar of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, appearing alongside them in the film '' Holiday in the Sun'' and the television series ''So Little Time''. He has also appeared in ''Pearl Harbor'', '' Zenon: Z3'', and ''I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer''. Easter began working as a professional photographer in 2008, and his photographs have since been featured in ''Icon'', ''Glamaholic'', ''Yoga Iowa'', and ''DSM Magazine''. An exhibit of his at the Polk County Jail in Des Moines, Iowa, titled "Confliction", was later restaged in Paris by UNESCO. He has worked for Wilhelmina Models and Next Management, and was one of the photographers for the 2012 Obama presidential campaign. Cora Unashamed
''Cora Unashamed'' is a 2000 American made-for-television drama film from The American Collection directed by Deborah Pratt, starring Regina Taylor and Cherry Jones. The film was shot on location in October 1999 in central Iowa. Cities such as Ames, Cambridge and Story City were used. The movie is based on a short story by the same name in ''The Ways of White Folks'', a 1934 collection of short stories by Langston Hughes. Cinematographer Ernest Holzman won an American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Award, for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography in Movies of the Week/Mini-Series'/Pilot for Network or Basic Broadcast TV, for his work on this film. ''Husk'' is a 2011 American supernatural horror film. It stars Devon Graye, C. J. Thomason, Tammin Sursok and Ben Easter. It was directed by Brett Simmons and was one of eight films released in 2011 as part of After Dark Films' premiere of their "After Dark Originals" sub-label. Plot Chris, Scott, Johnny, Brian and his girlfriend Natalie are driving through rural Nebraska, when a flock of crows attacks their SUV, causing it to crash and knocking everyone unconscious. They wake up and discover Johnny's missing, so Natalie and Chris stay with the car while Brian and Scott enter a cornfield to search a nearby farmhouse for him.
