Benjamin Clark (born 24 January 1983) is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. During his career, he played for Sunderland, Hartlepool United, Gateshead and latterly South Shields. He has also been first-team manager and community officer at Gateshead. Club career Manchester United Clark began his career as a trainee for Manchester United, but became homesick and signed for Sunderland in August 1999. The Lashes
The Lashes were a Seattle-based power pop band that formed in 2000 and became inactive in 2008. In 2004, the Lashes released the ''Stupid Stupid'' EP, produced by John Goodmanson, on Lookout! Records. Goodmanson also produced their debut album, ''Get It'', released by Columbia Records in 2006. On May 5, 2007, Lashes guitarist Eric Howk fell into a hole at a construction site near a friend's house and broke several vertebrae and severed his spine. The accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. On May 17, 2007, the McLeod Residence hosted a benefit for Howk. Donations collected at the event raised money to help cover his medical bills. Pappy's
Pappy's is a British three-man comedy act, composed of comedians Ben Clark, Matthew Crosby and Tom Parry. The sketch troupe previously performed shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, but now mostly talk on podcasts about balconies and spaghetti. They regularly produce podcasts under the ''Pappy's Flatshare'' heading, and created and starred in the BBC Three sitcom ''Badults''. History Pappy's started out as a four-man comedy collective called "Pappy's Fun Club", consisting of Ben Clark, Matthew Crosby, Brendan Dodds, and Tom Parry. The group met at the University of Kent and started out performing in Canterbury and Wolverhampton. Benjamin Keefe Clark (June 30, 1962 – September 11, 2001) was an American chef and victim of the September 11 attacks. Clark was working as the only corporate chef for hundreds of employees on the 96th floor of the South Tower of the World Trade Center that day. Benjamin Preston Clark (October 8, 1860, in West Roxbury – January 11, 1939, in Philadelphia), known to friends as "Preston", was an American entomologist who specialized in Lepidoptera, especially Sphingidae. He also operated a mercantile business and patented a new form of twine for binding grain.
