Ben Beran
Benjamin Beran (born October 1, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the South Dakota State Jackrabbits before playing professionally in Germany and Australia. He was named Most Valuable Player of the State Basketball League (SBL) in 2013 and helped the Lakeside Lightning win the SBL championship the same year. Early life Beran was born in Victor, Iowa, where he attended Hartwick-Ladora-Victor High School. He averaged 18.5 points and 15.3 rebounds as a senior and finished his high school career with 1,359 points and 1,082 rebounds alongside three first-team all-conference selections. Lakeside Lightning
Lakeside Lightning is an NBL1 West club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club fields a team in both the Men's and Women's NBL1 West. The club is owned and managed by Lakeside Baptist Church. The Lightning play their home games at Lakeside Recreation Centre. Club history Background The Lakeside Lightning basketball program was established by the Lakeside Baptist Church in 1995 when teams were first entered into the junior state league, the Western Australian Basketball League (WABL). Rockingham Flames is an NBL1 West club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club fields a team in both the Men's and Women's NBL1 West. The club is a division of the Rockingham Basketball and Recreation Association (RBRA), the major administrative basketball organisation in the region. Proas are various types of multi-hull outrigger sailboats of the Austronesian peoples. The terms were used for native Austronesian ships in European records during the Colonial era indiscriminately, and thus can confusingly refer to the double-ended single-outrigger boats of Oceania, the double-outrigger boats of Island Southeast Asia, and sometimes ships with no outriggers or sails at all. The Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners men's basketball represents California State University, Bakersfield in Bakersfield, California, United States.
