Ben Altit
Ben Avi Albert Altit ( he, בן אלטיט; born April 4, 1993) is an Israeli basketball player for Hapoel Be'er Sheva of the Israeli Premier League. He played college basketball for Bryant University before playing professionally in Israel. Early years Altit was born in Herzliya, Israel, He played for Maccabi Tel Aviv youth team. Altit played college basketball for Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, In 30 games played during the 2011–12 season, he averaged 4.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. Professional career Altit started his professional career with Bnei Herzliya in the 2012–13 season, averaging 4.9 points and 1.4 rebounds in 14 Israeli League games. The Estonia men's national basketball team ( et, Eesti korvpallikoondis) represents Estonia in international basketball matches. They are controlled by the Estonian Basketball Association. 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualification (Europe)
The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification for the FIBA Europe region, began in August 2017 and concluded in February 2019. Contrary to previous years, no teams were automatically placed into the World Cup, so all FIBA Europe nations had to participate in qualification. Format FIBA Europe was allocated 12 berths at the World Cup. In total, 37 FIBA Europe teams took part in the qualification tournament. The qualification consisted of the following stages: * Pre-Qualifiers: 13 teams that did not participate in EuroBasket 2017 took part. Eight teams had qualified for the first round. Israel is currently ranked 33rd in the FIBA World Rankings. Israel has qualified for the EuroBasket 30 times throughout their history. Israel In The Eurovision Song Contest 2022
Israel participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy with the entry "I.M" performed by Michael Ben David. The Israeli broadcaster Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC/Kan) collaborated with the commercial broadcaster Reshet in order to select the Israeli entry for the 2022 contest. The fourth season of the reality singing competition '' The X Factor Israel'', which was organised by Reshet, was used to select the Israeli entry. The competition concluded with a final on 5 February 2022 that featured four finalists with potential Eurovision songs that were selected for them through a song selection round in January and February 2022.
