Ben Algar
Benjamin Christopher Algar (born 3 December 1989) is an English footballer who plays as a left back for Frickley Athletic. Career England Algar started his career as a winger or striker and came through the youth systems of Sheffield United and Chesterfield. He made his professional debut for the Spireites on 4 September 2007, coming on as a substitute in the 55th minute of a 3–1 defeat at home to Hartlepool United in the Football League Trophy. He made 15 league appearances for Chesterfield in the 2008–09 season, but was told that he would not be offered a new deal by the club, and was released on 7 May 2009. In the summer of 2009 Algar had short periods at League Two club Burton Albion and Conference National club Mansfield Town. Dronfield
Dronfield is a town in North East Derbyshire, England, which includes Dronfield Woodhouse and Coal Aston. It lies in the valley of the River Drone between Chesterfield and Sheffield. The Peak District National Park is to the west. The name comes from the Old English ''Dranfleld'', probably meaning an open land infested with drone bees. The town existed before the 1086 Domesday Book, and has a 13th-century parish church. In 1662, Charles II granted the town a market, although this later ceased. The industrial history of the town includes coal mining, the wool trade, the production of soap and steel, and engineering. Today a range of manufacturing firms still operate in the town. The stadium to the north of the town is officially " The Home of Football", providing the playing surface for Sheffield F.C., the world's oldest football club. Mark Atkins (footballer)
Mark Nigel Atkins (born 14 August 1968) is an English football manager and former professional footballer. He was primarily a central midfielder but started out as right-back in a career that lasted from 1986 until 2004, notably in the Premier League for Blackburn Rovers where he won the title in 1995. He also played in the Football League for Scunthorpe United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, York City, Doncaster Rovers, Hull City, Shrewsbury Town and Harrogate Town. Later on his playing career, Atkins was brielfly appointed as caretaker manager at both Doncaster and Shrewsbury, and in 2008 he was appointed as manager of non-league side Matlock Town, a position he held for six years. FC New York
F.C. New York was an American professional soccer team based first in Queens, New York City, and then Long Island, New York. The team played two seasons, starting in 2011 in the National Division of the USL Professional Division, the third tier of the American Soccer Pyramid and then moving to the National Premier Soccer League for 2012. The club did not finish its 2012 schedule before folding. The team played its home games at Belson Stadium on the grounds of St. John's University in Jamaica, Queens.
