Bowen Developmental Road
Bowen Developmental Road is a rural strategic main road in Queensland, Australia. It is part of State Route 77, and functions as a highway. It has a length of and extends in northeast-southwest direction from Bowen on the east coast of Australia to the Gregory Developmental Road in Belyando near Nairana National Park. In its course, the road crosses the Clark Range and Leichhardt Range. Until the station ''Whynot'' it is paved. The last were dirt road but some further sealing was done in 2021. Gregory Developmental Road
The Gregory Highway is a state highway in Queensland, Australia that serves the major coal-mining centres of Central Queensland. The highway was named after Augustus Gregory, an early explorer. Route description The highway runs southward from Quartz Blow Creek, a point west of Mount Surprise on the Gulf Developmental Road, via Charters Towers, to Springsure, over away. The northern section of is designated by the state government as the Gregory Developmental Road. The shorter southern section between Clermont and Springsure () is designated the Gregory Highway. Coral Sea
The Coral Sea () is a marginal sea of the South Pacific off the northeast coast of Australia, and classified as an interim Australian bioregion. Suttor River
The Suttor River is a river in Central Queensland, Australia. The Belyando River is its main tributary. The river has its origins in the Leichhardt Range, north west of Glenden. It flows into Lake Dalrymple, becoming a tributary of the Burdekin River. Geography A DIWA wetlands can be found along the course of the river. The wetland known as the Scartwater Aggregation is a floodplain upstream from Lake Dalrymple where the river is split into two major channels by Scartwater Hill, a sandstone outcrop, the channels contain two large permanent waterholes. Burdekin is an electoral district in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in the state of Queensland, Australia. Centred on the Ayr–Home Hill region, the electorate also includes some of Townsville's southern semi-rural localities as well as the coal-mining towns of Collinsville, Moranbah and Clermont. The Burdekin River flows through part of the electorate. History The 1949 redistribution abolished the electoral district of Bowen.
