Belvidere, South Australia
Belvidere is a small town in the Alexandrina Council area of South Australia. With the advent of improved transport, the town no longer has a school or post office. The Soldier's Memorial Hall was built in 1921 to commemorate the 17 young men of the district who served in World War I, five of whom did not return. It remains a part of the town and available for hire. Belvidere, also known as Villa Belvidere, is a historic home located in Angelica, near Belmont, Allegany County, New York. Built in 1804 from plans attributed to Benjamin Henry Latrobe, it is an outstanding example of Federal architecture. The mansion was constructed for early settler John Barker Church, former English Member of Parliament and brother-in-law of Alexander Hamilton through his wife Angelica Schuyler Church. Description Belvidere is a large stone-and-brick mansion with a -story central block over a partial basement, a 2-story-over-basement east wing, and -story service wing. Belvidere is a town in Buffalo County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 396 at the 2010 census. The unincorporated community of Herold is located in the town. Geography Belvidere is located in western Buffalo County, with its western boundary following the main channel of the Mississippi River and forming the state boundary with Minnesota. The city of Alma borders the northwest corner of the town, and the city of Buffalo City and village of Cochrane are along the southwest border. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which is land and , or 6.33%, is water. Belvidere (Goochland County, Virginia)
Belvidere is a historic farm property at 4024 Pace Road in rural Goochland County, Virginia, south of the hamlet of Hadensville. The property consists of that are now mainly woodland, with a cleared area near its center with some fields and the farm complex. The centerpiece of the farm complex is a two-story wood-frame house, whose oldest portion probably dates to the late 18th century. It was enlarged by a two-story addition in 1821–22, and underwent further alterations in the 19th century before undergoing restoration beginning in 1979. It is a rare surviving example of 18th-century architecture in the county. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. Belvidere is a town in Lamoille County, Vermont, United States. The population was 358 at the 2020 census. Belvidere contains the hamlets of Belvidere Center, Belvidere Corners and Belvidere Junction. In 1963, part of Averys Gore in Franklin County became part of Belvidere, while the other part became part of Montgomery. Geography Belvidere is the northernmost town in Lamoille County and is bordered by Franklin County to the north. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which , or 0.16%, are water. The North Branch of the Lamoille River flows east to west across the center of the town, and most of the town's settlement is in the North Branch valley. Vermont Route 109 runs up the valley and has its eastern terminus at Vermont Route 118 at Belvidere Corners in the eastern part of town.
