Beluga (restaurant)
Beluga is a restaurant on Plein 1992 in Maastricht, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that is awarded two Michelin stars from 2005 to 2019. It was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1998–2004 and 2020 to present.. In 2011, GaultMillau gave the restaurant a rating of 19.5 out of 20. The restaurant was established by chef Hans van Wolde in 1997. Originally it was located in Havenstraat in the old centre of Maastricht. Maastricht

Plein is an ''Ortsgemeinde'' – a municipality belonging to a ''Verbandsgemeinde'', a kind of collective municipality – in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Gault et Millau is a French restaurant guide. It was founded by two restaurant critics, Henri Gault and Christian Millau in 1965. Points system Gault Millau rates on a scale of 1 to 20, with 20 being the highest. Restaurants given below 10 points are rarely listed. The points are awarded based on the quality of the food, with comments about service, price or the atmosphere of the restaurant given separately. Based on this rating, high-ranking restaurants may display one to four toques. Gault Millau does not accept payment for listing restaurants. Jo Coenen (born 30 September 1949, in Heerlen) is a Dutch architect and urban planner. He studied architecture at the Eindhoven University of Technology (graduating in 1975), and later held professorships at TU Karlsruhe, Eindhoven University of Technology and Delft University of Technology.
