Enrollment Process The school enrolls new freshman on a first-come first served basis through a campout that usually takes place in April. Quidditch is a fictional sport invented by author J.K. Rowling for her fantasy book series ''Harry Potter''. It first appeared in the novel ''Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'' (1997).
