Sverdlovsk Oblast ( rus, Свердловская область, Sverdlovskaya oblast) is a federal subject (an oblast) of Russia located in the Ural Federal District. Geography Most of the oblast is spread over the eastern slopes of the Middle and North Urals and the Western Siberian Plain.
