''Belonging'' is an English-language Welsh television drama series, produced by BBC Wales and broadcast on BBC One Wales BBC One Wales is a Welsh television channel owned and operated by BBC Cymru Wales. It is the Welsh variation of the UK-wide BBC One and is broadcast from Central Square in Cardiff Cardiff (; cy, Caerdydd ) is the capital and largest city .... The programme revolved around the lives of the Lewis family, and their various trials and tribulations in the changing environment of their South Wales town Bryncoed and modern Wales. The programme began in 1999, and its ninth and final series started in April 2008 and ended in June. A one-off ten-year anniversary special was broadcast on 16 April 2009, centring on a reunion of the Lewis family. Stephanie Parker died two days after the show ended. Eve Myles
Eve Myles (born 26 July 1978) is a Welsh actress. She is best known for her television roles portraying Ceri Lewis in the long-running BBC Wales drama series '' Belonging'' (2000–2009), Gwen Cooper in the BBC science-fiction series ''Torchwood'' (2006–2011) and Faith Howells in the bilingually produced BBC / S4C drama series ''Keeping Faith'' / ''Un Bore Mercher'' (2017–2020). She is also an accomplished theatre actress. Myles graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2000. Later that year, she began playing Ceri Lewis in the BBC Wales-produced drama series '' Belonging'', a role she was to continue with until the end of the series in 2009. Donna Edwards (born 1963) is a Welsh actress. Edwards is a Bafta Cymru award-winning for Best Actress. Early life and education She was born in Merthyr Tydfil and raised in the village of Trefechan. She was a pupil at Vaynor and Penderyn High School where she took an early interest in drama. At 14 she was chosen as the lead role of Myfanwy Llewellyn in '' Off to Philadelphia in the Morning'', a 1978 BBC drama series about the composer Joseph Parry.
