Bellvitge (L'Hospitalet De Llobregat)
Bellvitge () is a mostly working-class neighborhood in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, belonging to the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It is part of L'Hospitalet's District VI, along with Gornal. Bellvitge is situated at a height of 4 to 8 meters above sea level. It borders the cities of Cornellà de Llobregat, El Prat de Llobregat and Barcelona on the west and south; El Gornal neighborhood in the east, with El Centre to the north. History In 1964 the real estate agency Inmobiliaria Ciudad Condal S.A. (ICC) initiated the construction of this neighbourhood as it stands nowadays, beside the hermitage, on land which had been bought from local farmers. It was designed as a residential area to house the large number of people who came to Catalonia and Barcelona from elsewhere in Spain in the 1960s to work in the bustling automotive industry. Alberto Lopo García (born 5 May 1980) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Bellvitge , Rambla Marina is a Barcelona Metro station, in the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat municipality of the Barcelona metropolitan area, and named after the nearby neighbourhood of Bellvitge. The station is served by line L1. It is some west of Bellvitge railway station, served by Rodalies de Catalunya commuter and regional rail services. Bellvitge , Rambla Marina metro station is located under ''Rambla de la Marina'' and can be accessed from both sides of the road. The station entrances access two underground ticket halls, which in turn give access to two long side platforms on a lower level. Bellvitge is a Rodalies de Catalunya commuter rail Railway station, station serving Bellvitge, the neighborhood of the same name, in the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat municipality, to the south-west of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain.
