Bellvitge
Bellvitge () is a mostly working-class neighborhood in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, belonging to the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It is part of L'Hospitalet's District VI (L'Hospitalet), District VI, along with Gornal (L'Hospitalet de Llobregat), Gornal. Bellvitge is situated at a height of 4 to 8 meters above sea level. It borders the cities of Cornellà de Llobregat, El Prat de Llobregat and Barcelona on the west and south; El Gornal neighborhood in the east, with El Centre to the north. History In 1964 the real estate agency Inmobiliaria Ciudad Condal S.A. (ICC) initiated the construction of this neighbourhood as it stands nowadays, beside the hermitage, on land which had been bought from local farmers. It was designed as a residential area to house the large number of people who came to Catalonia and Barcelona from elsewhere in Spain in the 1960s to work in the bustling automotive industry. Bellvitge Railway Station
Bellvitge is a Rodalies de Catalunya commuter rail Railway station, station serving Bellvitge, the neighborhood of the same name, in the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat municipality, to the south-west of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It is on the conventional Madrid–Barcelona railway, between and , and is served by all trains on Rodalies de Catalunya#Barcelona commuter rail service, Barcelona commuter rail service lines and , as well as some trains. Some trains on regional line also call at the station. Opened on , the current at-grade station is projected to be put underground together with the rest of the conventional Madrid–Barcelona railway on its way through L'Hospitalet de Llobregat in the coming years. Bellvitge (Barcelona Metro)
Bellvitge , Rambla Marina is a Barcelona Metro station, in the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat municipality of the Barcelona metropolitan area, and named after the nearby neighbourhood of Bellvitge. The station is served by line L1. It is some west of Bellvitge railway station, served by Rodalies de Catalunya commuter and regional rail services. Bellvitge , Rambla Marina metro station is located under ''Rambla de la Marina'' and can be accessed from both sides of the road. The station entrances access two underground ticket halls, which in turn give access to two long side platforms on a lower level. The station opened in 1989, when line L1 was extended from Avinguda Carrilet station to Hospital de Bellvitge station. Barcelona Metro Line 1
Line 1, shortened to L1, coloured red and often simply called ''Línia vermella'' ("Red Line"), is the second oldest Barcelona Metro line, after line L3. It is the longest line of the Barcelona Metro, and links L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Santa Coloma de Gramenet. Originally operated by the independent Ferrocarril Metropolitano Transversal de Barcelona, it is today operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) and is part of the ATM fare-integrated main transport system. L'Hospitalet De Llobregat
L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (; es, Hospitalet de Llobregat), often shortened to L'Hospitalet or just L'H, is a municipality of Spain, located to the immediate southwest of Barcelona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. It is part of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area. By population, it is the second largest in Catalonia and the sixteenth in Spain. It is one of the most densely populated cities in the European Union. Gornal (L'Hospitalet De Llobregat)
El Gornal, or simply Gornal, is a neighbourhood in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, belonging to the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It's part of District VI of L'Hospitalet, along with Bellvitge. Its creation started with the urban expansion of Bellvitge into empty terrains around Renfe railtracks. From the 1970s on it has been growing extensively, with the introduction of apartment blocks destined for low-income people. In 1991 the Civic Center was opened and commercial galleries (Mercat de Gornal) in 1994. Also commenced in 1994 was the third phase of housing, which was completed in 1997. This phase joined the district to the rest of the city and not remain so isolated, with a communal square created called Gornal. In 1999 the Hotel Entities opened (which was closed in 2010). Barcelona Metro
The Barcelona Metro (Catalan and Spanish: ) is an extensive network of rapid transit electrified railway lines that run mostly underground in central Barcelona and into the city's suburbs. It is part of the larger public transport system of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, Spain, with unified fares under the (ATM) scheme. As of 2014, the network is operated by two separate companies: (TMB) and (FGC). It is made up of 12 lines, combining the lines owned by the two companies. Iván Salvador Edú (born 11 December 1995), known in Spain as Iban Salvador and in Africa as Iban Edú, is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Segunda División club CF Fuenlabrada.
