Juan Alberto Belloch (born 1950) is a Spanish judge and socialist politician, who served in different cabinet posts. He served as the mayor of Zaragoza between June 2003 and 13 June 2015. Early life and education Belloch was born in Mora de Rubielos, Teruel Province, in 1950. He graduated from the University of Barcelona with a law degree. Career and activities Belloch worked as a judge in the Basque county. He is the founder of the Judges for Democracy and was an active member of the organization until 1990. He also established the association for human rights in 1984. He served as the president of the provincial court of Vizcaya. In 1990, he was appointed a member of the general council of the judiciary. Belloch is a member of Spain's Socialist Party. José Atarés
José Atarés Martínez (2 August 1960 – 26 September 2013) was a Spanish People's Party (PP) politician. He was a city councillor (1991–2007) and the mayor of Zaragoza (2000–2003). He was also a senator representing the Province of Zaragoza from 2004 until his death. Biography Born in El Vallecillo, Province of Teruel, Aragon, Atarés was the son of a farm manager. His father wanted him to continue the family trade, but instead he became an estate agent, then graduated in Law from the University of Zaragoza. He then opened a law firm. Briefly in the Socialist Party of Aragon, Atarés joined the PP in the mid-1980s. He was first elected to the city hall in 1991, first in opposition to the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). Mari Cruz Soriano Roales (born 23 August 1955) is a Spanish entrepreneur, journalist, pianist, and radio and television presenter. Biography The first years of Mari Cruz Soriano's childhood were spent in the Navarrese town of Lesaka. Margarita Mariscal de Gante (born 10 January 1954) is a Spanish judge and politician, who served as the minister of justice from 1996 to 2000. Early life Gante was born in Madrid on 10 January 1954. She is the daughter of Jaime Mariscal de Ghent, a judge of the Public Order Tribunal created in Francoist Spain. The brother of this judge, Commissioner Mariscal de Gante, is also known for having invited the torturer Billy el Niño, the alias of Antonio González Pacheco, to celebrate in a police station in Madrid. José Barrionuevo (born 13 March 1942) is a Spanish politician. He was the minister of interior from 1982 to 1988. He was jailed from 1998 to 2001 due to his involvement in a dirty war against ETA members. Early life and education Barrionuevo was born in Berja near Almería in 1942. He obtained bachelor degrees in law and journalism. Career and activities Barrionuevo was a member of the pro-Franco student union where he likely met Rodolfo Martín Villa, then interior minister. Antoni Asunción Hernández (12 July 1951 – 5 March 2016) was a Spanish politician of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). He was Minister of Interior between 1993 and 1994. He also served as member of the Congress of Deputies during the V Legislature (1993–1996). Career Asunción was born on 12 July 1951 in Manises. Mora de Rubielos is a municipality located in the mountainous area of the Iberian System, province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain.
