Bello Bala Shagari
Bello Shagari (born 26 April 1988) is a youth activist and a documentary filmmaker. He is the representative of Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization in Nigeria (NAMYO). Prior to that, he led the National Youth Council of Nigeria and The Royal African Young Leadership Forum, RAYLF Africa. Background Bello is a notable grandson of Nigeria's former president Alhaji Shehu Shagari who is involved in Youth Activism. He announced his grandfather's death on 28 December 2018. His father is the president's eldest son, Mallam Muhammad Bala Shagari of Shagari, Sokoto State. He had his early education in Sokoto and later had his SSCE in Police Secondary School Minna, Niger State. In secondary school, he served as the Cadet Commander in the School's Cadet Club. Sokoto
Sokoto is a major city located in extreme northwestern Nigeria, near the confluence of the Sokoto River and the Rima River. As of 2006 it has a population of over 427,760. Abdulsalami Abubakar
Abdulsalami Abubakar (; born 13 June 1942) is a Nigerian statesman and retired Nigerian Army general who served as the ''de facto'' President of Nigeria from 1998 to 1999. He was also Chief of Defence Staff between 1997 and 1998. He succeeded General Sani Abacha upon his death. During his leadership, Nigeria adopted a modified version of the 1979 constitution, which provided for multiparty elections. He transferred power to president-elect Olusegun Obasanjo on 29 May 1999. He is the current Chairman of the National Peace Committee. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR (born 25 December 1949) is a Nigerian politician who is currently serving as the Governor of Kano State. He took over office in 2015. He previously served as Rabiu Kwankwaso's deputy governor twice, between 1999 to 2003 and 2011 to 2015. Background Ganduje was born in 1949 to a Fulani family in the village of Ganduje, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State. He began his early education in a Qur'anic and Islamiyya school at his village, where he was trained in Islamic knowledge. Later, he moved to the headquarters of his local government where he attended Dawakin Tofa Primary School from 1956 to 1963. The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) was established in 1964. It is charged with the responsibility of policy formulation and implementation on issues relating to youth development in Nigeria. It is the umbrella body and the mouthpiece of the Nigerian Youths. It was established and given legal recognition in 1990. The NYCN has three branches; the National, Zonal and the State chapters. The All Progressives Congress (APC) is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Nigeria, along with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
