Ronald Belliard (born April 7, 1975) is an American former professional baseball second baseman. He played 13 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1998 to 2010 for the Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, Washington Nationals and the Los Angeles Dodgers. David Belliard (born 29 May 1978) is a French politician. From 2014 to 2020, he was the leader of the Green Party faction at the Council of Paris. He ran for mayor of Paris in the 2020 municipal election as the Ecologist candidate. As of July 2020, he serves as a member of the executive team to the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, in charge of the transformation of public spaces, as well as transportation, mobility, rules and regulations on city streets, and the management of roads. Rafael Leonidas Belliard Matias (born October 24, 1961) is a retired professional baseball shortstop who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1982 to 1998 with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Atlanta Braves. He was a member of Atlanta's 1995 World Series winning team against the Cleveland Indians. He served as the infield and first base coach for the Detroit Tigers from 2006 to 2013. Playing career Belliard won a silver medal with the Dominican Republic at the 1979 Pan American Games, then signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates as an amateur free agent in 1980. He played in the Pirates' minor-league system, reaching the Double-A level in 1982. He made his major-league debut as a pinch runner against the New York Mets on September 6, 1982. The Rue Belliard ( French) or Belliardstraat (Dutch) is a major street in Brussels, Belgium, running parallel to the Rue de la Loi/Wetstraat. Both are one-way streets; where traffic in the Rue de la Loi runs in the western direction towards Brussels' city centre, the Rue Belliard runs in the eastern direction, away from the city centre.
