Bellatrix is the third-brightest star in the constellation of Orion, positioned 5° west of the red supergiant Betelgeuse (Alpha Orionis). Orion OB1 (Ori OB1) is a contingent group of several dozen hot giant stars of spectral types O and B in Orion. Alnilam is the central star of Orion's Belt in the equatorial constellation of Orion.
