Bellarive
Bellarive was a contemporary Christian music, Christian pop rock band that originated in Orlando, Florida, Orlando, Florida in 2009. The band is composed of Sean Curran (vocals, keys and guitar), Melissa Mage (vocals and percussion), Mike Mage (programming, guitar and vocals), Zach Glotffelty (lead guitar), Josh Luker (bass guitar and percussion) and Kenny Werner (drums). After one self-released EP, they signed to Sparrow Records in May 2012, and released their debut studio album ''The Heartbeat (Bellarive album), The Heartbeat'' on June 19, 2012. This album peaked on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Top Christian Albums, Christian Albums chart at No. 21 and on the Top Heatseekers, Heatseekers Albums chart at No. 17. Their second studio album, ''Before There Was'', was released on July 22, 2014. They disbanded December 23, 2017. The Heartbeat (Bellarive Album)
''The Heartbeat'' is the first studio album by Bellarive, and the album released on June 19, 2012 by Sparrow Records. The album was produced by Bellarive and Joshua Silverberg. The album debut at No. 21 and No. 17 on the Christian and Heatseekers albums charts, respectively. The lead single from the album is "Taste of Eternity". "Love Has Found Us", "Sing", "Shine On" and "Stories" were previously included on the band's debut EP, ''The Being Human Project...Start Listening''. Singles "Taste of Eternity" was released on April 24, 2012 as the first single from the album. It was written by Bellarive and Jason Ingram. It didn't chart, although the music video has over 70,000 views on YouTube, and received highly positive reviews. Promotional singles "Love Has Found Us" was released on February 1, 2010 as a promotional single. The song has received mainly positive reviews from critics and audiences. Sparrow Records is a Christian music record label and a division of Universal Music Group. History Sparrow Records was founded in 1976 by Billy Ray Hearn, then artists and repertoire (A&R) director at Myrrh Records. Purchased by Thorn EMI in 1992, Sparrow's parent underwent a demerger four years later to become the EMI Group, and the label is now part of the Capitol Christian Music Group. Sparrow Records rose to prominence with the signing of singer, songwriter, Contemporary Christian musician and minister Keith Green. Contemporary Christian music, also known as CCM, Christian pop, and occasionally inspirational music is a genre of modern popular music, and an aspect of Christian media, which is lyrically focused on matters related to the Christian faith and stylistically rooted in Christian music. Top Heatseekers are "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. The Heatseekers Albums and the Heatseekers Songs charts were introduced by ''Billboard'' in 1991 with the purpose of highlighting the sales by new and developing musical recording artists. Top Christian Albums is a weekly chart published in ''Billboard'' magazine that ranks the best-performing Christian albums in the United States. Like the ''Billboard'' 200, the data is compiled by Nielsen Soundscan based on each album's weekly physical and digital sales, as well as on-demand streaming and digital sales of its individual tracks.
