Belgium Women's National Rugby Union Team (sevens)
The Belgium women's national rugby sevens team are a national sporting side of Belgium, representing them at Rugby sevens. Tournament History Belgium won the 2013 FIRA-AER Women's Sevens – Division A and were promoted to the Grand Prix Series. In the 2014 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Grand Prix Series they placed 10th in both tournaments in Moscow and Brive and finally eleventh overall. They were relegated to the Trophy division for 2015, they became champions once again and were promoted to the Grand Prix Series for 2016. Belgium placed 6th overall in the 2016 Grand Prix Series and qualified for a spot at the 2017 Hong Kong Women's Sevens The 2017 Hong Kong Women's Sevens acted as a qualifier for the 2017–18 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series. Brive-la-Gaillarde
Brive-la-Gaillarde (; Limousin dialect of oc, Briva la Galharda) is a commune of France. It is a sub-prefecture and the largest city of the Corrèze department. It has around 46,000 inhabitants, while the population of the agglomeration was 75,579 in 2019. Although it is by far the biggest commune in Corrèze, the capital is Tulle. The 2016 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Grand Prix Series was the top level of international women's rugby sevens competitions organised by Rugby Europe during 2016. The series featured two tournaments, one hosted in Kazan and one hosted in Malemort. In preparation for 2016 Summer Olympics, England and Wales were replaced by two Great Britain representative teams, the Lions and the Royals. The 2017 Hong Kong Women's Sevens acted as a qualifier for the 2017–18 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series. The tournament was played on 7–8 April 2017 at Hong Kong Stadium in Hong Kong alongside the 2017 Hong Kong Sevens for men. Format 12 teams, split into three groups of four. The 2017–18 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series was the sixth edition of the global circuit for women's national rugby sevens teams, organised by World Rugby. There were five tournament events scheduled on the 2017–18 circuit and twelve teams competed in each tournament. Format Twelve teams compete at each event.
