Beit Dagan ( he, בֵּית דָּגָן, lit=House of Grain) is a local council (Israel), local council (town) in the Central District (Israel), Central District of Israel. This area was home to thousands of inhabitants in about 20 villages, who had at their disposal tens of thousands of hectares of prime agricultural land. Modern day Beit Dagan was founded in 1948 at the site of the Palestinians, Palestinian village Bayt Dajan by Mizrahi Jewish immigrants from Yemen and North Africa.
